Only the best GMP (Good Manufacturing Products/Practice) raw materials and ingredients have been selected. A careful combination of raw material quality and production practises is used to guarantee maximum nutrient content, absorption and potency. This is coupled with small, short manufacturing runs to guarantee maximum freshness and super-potency.

For starters, you won't find another formula that gives you these four ingredients together in one tablet in isolation. ADE & ZINC lays a solid foundation for the absorption of your fat-soluble vitamins. It represents great value for money - one bottle lasts 90days or longer, making it one of the most affordable supplements on the market. Your body will also appreciate unmatched antioxidant action with important nutrients such as vitamins A, D, E and Zinc.

Research studies have shown that most people do not come close to meeting their nutrient requirements and that up to 80% of these people's diets are marginally deficient in one or more nutrients. This causes many to experience symptoms such as fatigue. Research has proven that supplementing correctly can dramatically improve health by minimising the effects of aging, strengthening the immune system, increasing energy, promoting healing and helping to prevent degenerative diseases.

Lifeforce believes that the primary foundation of a sound nutritional supplementation program begins with a comprehensive combination formula, such as ADE & Zinc.

Vitamin A
Vitamin A is fat-soluble. It requires fat as well as minerals to be properly absorbed by your digestive tract. This vitamin can be stored in your body and need not be replenished every day, unless you have a metabolic disorder. It occurs in two forms - preformed Vitamin A (called Retinol) and provitamin A (known as Carotene). Carotene is the pre-cursor for forming Vitamin A in the body. If you have a metabolic disorder (Diabetes, Hypoglycaemia, Thyroid problems, hormonal imbalances or Candida Albicans) then the body is unable to perform this function. Vitamin A is measured in International Units. The average daily dosage is 5,000IU for children and 10,000 IU for adults, although the need increases with greater body weight. Vitamin A has been referred to as the anti-infective vitamin because of its prime function of maintaining the structural integrity of the skin and the functionality of the mucous membranes.

Vitamin D
Vitamin D is fat-soluble. It is acquired from sunlight or the diet. Ultraviolet sunrays act on the oils of the skin to produce vitamin D, which is then absorbed by the body. When taken orally, Vitamin D is absorbed with fats through the intestinal walls. This vitamin is also measured in International Units (IU). The recommended daily allowance for adults is 400IU and children 200IU.

Vitamin E
Vitamin E is fat-soluble and is stored in the liver, fatty tissues, heart, muscles, testes, uterus, blood, adrenal and pituitary glands. Vitamin E is measured in International Units (one IU is equivalent to one milligram). Vitamin E is composed of compounds called Tocopherols. An active anti-oxidant prevents the oxidation of fat compounds, Vitamin A, Selenium, two sulphur amino acids and some Vitamin C. Vitamin E enhances the activity of Vitamin A. Unfortunately, 60-70% of daily doses are excreted in faeces. Unlike other fat-soluble vitamins, Vitamin E is stored in the body for a relatively short time (much like Vitamin B and Vitamin C). This vitamin is an important vasodilator and anticoagulant. The recommended daily intake is 200IU preferable used in conjunction with 25mcg of Selenium.

Zinc Gluconate acts as a traffic policeman, directing and overseeing the efficient flow of body processes, and maintaining enzyme systems and cells. It is essential for protein synthesis. Zinc governs the contractibility of muscles and assists in the formation of Insulin. Zinc is important for blood stability and for maintaining the body's acid-alkaline balance. Zinc is needed for the growth & development of the reproductive organs and for the normal functioning of the prostate gland. New studies indicate the importance of Zinc in brain functioning and the treatment of Schizophrenia. There is strong evidence of its requirement for the synthesis of DNA. Excessive sweating can cause a loss of as much as 3mg of zinc per day. Most zinc in foods is lost in processing, or never exits in substantial amount due to nutrient-poor soil. A Zinc chelated deficiency can cause the depression of cell-mediated (lymphocyte) immune responses. A deficiency may also bring about lymphoid atrophy with a slight decrease in T-cell numbers in the peripheral blood. Not only is the number of T-helpers cells decreased, but there is also a noted decrease in the activity of Facteur Thumic Serique (French, meaning Thymus Blood Factor).
